Design Your Own Tour - HOW IT WORKS

Once you've booked with us, we'll get in touch with you and clarify your preferred destinations.

We strongly suggest booking your tastings in advance to avoid any disappointment on the day.

Please allow for travel time between wineries when booking your itinerary/tastings.

Lunch stop on FULL DAYS is a must. Please allow at least 1.5-2hrs for lunch.

Wine Tour FAQs
What is included in a DDHV wine tour? DDHV wine tours are private tours with your own driver. What is included depends on whether you choose a Design Your Own or Pre-Designed/Prepaid tour.
What is the difference between Design Your Own and Pre-Designed Tours?
Design Your Own: You create your own itinerary and book and pay for your wine tastings, lunch and any other activities.
Pre-Designed/Prepaid: We organise the itinerary for you and book and pay for the included wine tastings. Lunch and other food costs are not included.
We're happy to provide recommendations with either option.
Are DDHV wine tours private? Absolutely. All DDHV tours are private to your group. We don't combine you with other customers.
What time does my tour actually start and finish? Your booked tour time starts at your first tasting or venue and finishes when your last tasting is completed.
For example, a 10am–5pm tour means your first tasting can be at 10am and your final tasting needs to finish by 5pm.
Accommodation pickup and drop-off are outside your booked tour hours and don't incur an additional charge. We generally allow around 15–30 minutes for pickup and drop-off, depending on your accommodation location.
Can I bring children or a baby? Yes! Children and babies are welcome. Guests under 18 are not charged per person, although they still count towards the vehicle's passenger capacity.
If your child requires a car seat or child restraint, you must bring your own. DDHV does not provide car seats, but we're happy to fit your supplied seat into the vehicle.
